Should have moved away the mountain bike and abit tho the right the otherone to fill the empty space...!!!
The color box is abit distracting IMO....!!!

it's not overexposed but the angle could be better and the background (and modern bikes) don't fit that much in a picture about poverty imo

I like the colours here, and I think it wouldnt have looked the same without that box. This is a nice photo. I only wish that the kid's face was not shaded though I understand the difficulty in this kind of shot.

A street shot is not a studio shot.

You don't get an ideal world with every item being perfectly in their right place.

You can control light - yes!

You should maybe have waited to have eye contact or close to it with the boy.
His way of looking down (busy at work) is not giving the strongest throughput/message imo.

This time you got a lower and better angle versis the boy though. That is good!

There is something to be said for the juxtaposition of poor boy and the relatively expensive bike. Prosperity is close. Its not out of reach. That may detract from the aspect of destitution illustrated, but only in that it implies that there is hope for those who are willing to work. Maybe I'm reading too much into this tiny slice of the world, yet I think its worth adding.
